Bacon Project is a anime-style card game for fans of 1v1 duels. The game pits two criminals renowned for their destructive capabilities in an underground arena. Each player embodies one such character with a unique set of skills and abilities.

Your goal is simple : Defeat your opponent’s character. Victory comes from timing your abilities well, chaining strong combos, and outsmarting the other player at every turn.

I've re-written the rules of Bacon Project across all pages.

The second page now includes a list of all the effects currently in the game.

With about two months left until the early video game version of Bacon Project, I’ve been going through the kits of every playable character from the physical version of Bacon Project. The goal is to make sure the roster feels fair, fun, and full of good matchups in the digital version.

I’ve been doing this together with the community on the Bacon Project Discord Server. A bunch of players there have been testing recent character changes through Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia.  That help has been huge, especially because our dev team is tiny — just three people ( me, our programmer, and our graphic designer ) working on the game alongside full-time jobs.

If you’re an experienced Bacon Project player here on Itch.io, your feedback would be super valuable. Balance testing is happening right now, and this is the best moment to jump in and shape the final roster.

And if you’re a new player, now is a perfect time to familiarize yourself with the game. Since the video game announcement, lots of veterans are active and ready to teach, spar, and answer any questions about the rules, characters, or the world.
